A country is defined by its borders, its language and its culture. If any one of the three is not well defined or artificially created there will never be a real cultural identity or any real national unity. A prime example of this was the creation of the Soviet Union where captive countries were redefined, people were forced to adopt Russian as their primary language, they were forcibly relocated, they were forced to abandon their traditional religions and they were expected to be one big, happy family living in a Utopian paradise.
When the Soviet Union dissolved people went right back to their traditional borders, language and culture as best they could. The conflicts this created are ongoing today. The grand experiment failed.
The United States is exceptional in many ways not the least of which is while the borders were defined rather quickly after settlement began both the language and especially the culture took a long time to settle. The English, the Spanish, the Dutch and others had significant interests early on. The English eventually prevailed and while English became the national language the culture was a mix of many influences. Add to that the rapid influx of settlers from around the world as well as the African slave influence and America became an enormous melting pot. But the goal of virtually everyone who came to these shores was to become an “American.”
The American dream suffered many trials including the Civil War but it survived. It was not until the last decade or so that America as we know it came under serious attack. The Obama years were unprecedented in that the ripping apart of the fabric of our society began in earnest.
He began with what some called an “apology tour” which is not entirely accurate. His goal was to express willingness for America to be more a part of the global community but he also questioned “American exceptionalism.” This continued throughout his administration. Other ideas began to take hold such as America was an illegitimate country because it was taken from the original inhabitants. But apply that logic to Canada. Is Canada illegitimate since it was settled by the British and the French? Is Mexico illegitimate since it was settle by the Spanish? This applies to almost every country in the modern world.
Obama also did more damage to race relations and to the rule of law that any president in recent history. It was hoped that, as a black man, he would unite the country. But he surrounded himself with some of the worst racists of our time; Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan and a host of other radicals whose main goal is to keep racism alive and at the forefront of the national debate.
Then came Ferguson, Missouri where a white officer killed an “unarmed” black man named Michael Brown. Obama did something unprecedented for any US president; he got personally involved and brought along the US Attorney General, Eric Holder. There was already a widespread belief in the black community that white cops targeted black men but this settled the issue. It was now a fact.
“Hands up, don’t shoot” became the rallying cry. The town rioted and burned. The Governor ordered the National Guard and the State Police to stand down. Holder ordered another autopsy on Brown to attempt to prove a point. The white officer disappeared in fear of his life.
Obama and Holder circumvented due process and promoted trial by hysteria and media frenzy. When due process finally prevailed the facts came out: Brown was high on drugs and had committed a strong-arm robbery just before encountering the police officer. The officer stopped to question him and Brown attacked the officer. Brown was larger than the officer and a wrestling match took place inside the police car as Brown attempted to take the officer’s gun. At least one shot was fired in the car. Brown retreated then turned and charged the officer. That’s when he was shot. According to the grand jury the officer acted appropriately. Every police officer is taught that if a suspect attempts to take your gun he has only one thing in mind; to kill you with it. That action justifies deadly force.
When the grand jury findings were finally released the entire case suddenly disappeared from the news. Nothing further was heard from Obama and Holder. Most of the progressive community just dismissed it as lies and proof that the system is rigged to protect the police. The damage was irreparable.
The Weaponization of Language
Those who cry “hate” are hiding their own rage and bitterness. Those who cry “racism” do so to keep their radical agenda moving forward. Those who cry “liar” twist the truth to serve their own purposes.
“Racism” was first defined by the Oxford English Dictionary (2nd edition, 1989) as “[t]he theory that distinctive human characteristics and abilities are determined by race”; the same dictionary termed racism a synonym of racialism: “belief in the superiority of a particular race”.
“Racism” is one of the most over used words in the English language, followed by “bigot,” “sexism,” “phobic,” and “hate.” The folks who throw these words around are not intelligent enough to have a conversation with someone with a different point of view and have to resort to name calling.
While African American is not a new expression it was Jesse Jackson that made it main stream. Not an exact quote but he said in a fit of emotion when talking about racism “from now on we will be called African- Americans.” The media picked up on it and suddenly it became all the rage in the liberal community. I have black friends who also hate the term and I have white friends who are real African Americans: born in an African country with dual citizenship. Keep in mind there are 54 countries in Africa. The term is only meant to be divisive.
One of the most successful campaigns ever launched by the left is to convince the gullible, mostly on college campuses, that racism is everywhere. Ferguson solidified that belief. Along with climate change young people were given a cause and a focus. The Democrat Party and the compliant media quickly got on board. Radical causes conveniently ignore actual facts.
Identity Politics (Urban Dictionary)
“The act of believing that disagreeing with someone on certain ideologies equates to them disapproving a particular identity such as one’s race, sex, sexuality, religion, etc. rather than the ideology itself. Instead of focusing on the logical aspect of an idea or opinion, identity politics instead believes that a particular identity is opposing all people who belong to a particular identity.”
Examples of identity politics include:
(1) Black people believing that cops specifically target them because of the color of their skin
(2) Feminists believing that men judge and treat them poorly solely based on their gender
(3) Women voting for Hillary Clinton because the US needs its first woman president ASAP to empower women
(4) People believing Trump’s voters hate all women, Muslims, and Mexicans by supporting his platform
(5) People assuming if you are a white male, your political ideology is trying to push white supremacy
I wonder how many black folk realize how much damage the Democrats have done to them as a race of people. From hyphenated names to the drumbeat that their lot in life is caused by racism; all of their ills are the fault of the white man. It’s no longer that racism is an individual attitude but now just being white is racist. And because of this pervasive racism you, the black American, are a victim and entitled to all the rewards of victimhood. Being a victim you cannot rise above your place until the scourge of racism is vanquished.
Isn’t it ironic that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was an adamant racist (she believed in white superiority) and sanctioned abortion to control the reproduction of the “unfit,” which included blacks. Read her statements yourself. But Americans continue to worship at the bloody altar of human sacrifice while hiding behind euphemisms such as “choice” or “women’s health.”
While modern day Democrats are all on-board the abortion train they use racism to control the black population. Not from the standpoint of killing them but to keep themselves in power. They care nothing about black poverty, black-on-black crime, lack of education and job skills for blacks; all they care about is keeping blacks repressed and keeping them voting Democrat. Tell them they are victims of “white privilege” often enough and they will believe it.
Nowhere has the phony gospel of racism been preached more effectively than on the college campus. Here is a frightening parallel: The three main dictatorships of the last century used young people very effectively to gain and hold power. Joseph Stalin (Soviet Union), Adolph Hitler (Germany) and Mao Zedong (Communist China) brainwashed young people at a very early age. Once the youth were on board it was very easy to turn them against the selected enemy. In communism it is the wealthy, the privileged, the land owners and often the educated. In Nazism it was the Jews and some minorities.
Politically correct speech became very important. Young people turned in their own parents for “anti-revolutionary” thought or any statement that did not follow the party line. The accused often just disappeared. All that is missing on the college campus today are the swastikas and the red flags and the students marching in lock step.
And now cries of “socialism” and even “communism” are being heard on the college campus. Departments like “Diversity and Inclusion” are common at colleges and universities.
The brainwashing is nearly complete. Free speech and patriotism are anachronisms. The common enemy is now the white male, white privilege, toxic masculinity. The white female is somehow exempt.
There are true patriots all across the country; not just whites but all minorities. It’s encouraging to see more blacks stand up and resist what the Democrats have done to them. This is due to an extent to President Trump’s “America First” campaign that celebrates America as the greatest nation on earth and the land of true opportunity for all. He has backed that up with legislation and programs that benefit all citizens, especially those of color. And folks of color are recognizing it.
Borders
Why then do people flock to the United States? Because we are the freest and the most dynamic country that has ever existed. We are world leaders in research, inventions, technology, medicine, education, opportunity, and wealth. And we advertise it.
Imagine living in a poor community, struggling to make a living and surrounded by crime and violence. But one day in your travels you see a beautiful community with no walls and a large sign posted at the entrance.
“Welcome to our community. Please feel free to enter with no restrictions. You will receive free housing, free food coupons, free medical care, free education for your children. You will get a driver’s license and will be able to vote in our elections. And you can live in your own ethnic compounds and you do not have to learn our language. We are also a sanctuary community and we will protect you from those who wish to send you back to you own home.”
So you enter and, guess what!? It’s all true. You can’t wait to tell all of your friends back home that this is not a joke. You too must come. And so they do. By the thousands.
Rich and powerful Democratic leaders live in walled compounds with armed guards. But they refuse to secure our borders and are making renewed attempts to keep us from defending ourselves.
But beyond that they need voters. Since immigrants tend to settle in urban areas declaring sanctuary cities and registering illegals to vote works in favor of the Democrats. The next step is to abolish the Electoral College in favor of “pure” democracy where a few major population centers control the fate of the entire country. Large masses of people in a small area are much more easily influenced than individuals who live in more remote areas and have completely different needs and values.

No cars, no cows, no airplanes, free housing, free medical care, free education, guaranteed income (even if you don’t want to work), guaranteed job if you want one, free food, etc. It’s been tried before.
Starting in 1917, but accelerating in pace in 1929 with a new leader, a country was transformed into the Worker’s Paradise. Society was classless (except for the ruling elite which are necessary to ensure the worker’s got what they deserved).Millions were uprooted from their traditional homes, which the government confiscated, and relocated based on the government’s master plan. There they got free housing, free food (if there was any), free education (indoctrination) for their children, free re-education for adults, free medical care (what little there was), a guaranteed job that the government decided they should have, and everyone was paid the same amount of money regardless of what they did. They didn’t have to worry about cars (the government confiscated them all), the government took the cows and most of the crops they raised, they didn’t need air travel (airplanes were only for the government elite); in fact they couldn’t travel outside of their assigned districts without government permission.
What was this country and who was the leader starting in 1929? Stalinist Russia of course.
The Democrats are fully aware the Green New Deal is completely untenable. But they actually intend to implement it. And it has nothing to do with climate change. That is just a smoke screen. The only way it can work is to nationalize business and industry, the health care system, utilities, transportation, farming, education, the banking system and severely restrict or eliminate private enterprise. Following takeover of the political system they will eliminate the Electoral College and their next president will be a dictator. It’s called communism.
Conclusion
Don’t ya think we should start being honest about the whole socialism thing? It’s been tried before and the only way it works is with a totalitarian government. Also known as “communism.” If you are not sure about this try reading a real history book.
A united America is the death knell for communism, socialism and the radical left. They must avoid it at all cost. For them the greatest disaster would be for folks of color to turn against them and start taking advantage of the real opportunities afforded by a free society.
